CACI Awarded Prime Position on $975M Multiple-Award Contract to Support Counter Narcotics and Global Threats for U.S. Central Command

Work Will Help Deter National Security Threats Funded by Illicit Drug Trafficking

CACI International Inc (NYSE MKT: CACI) announced today it has been awarded a prime position on a $975 million multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to continue to support Counter Narcotics and Global Threats (CN&GT) work for the Department of Defense (DoD) Air Combat Command, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), and other Geographic Combatant Commands. This seven-year contract continues CACI’s business in multiple market areas, primarily its Logistics and Material Readiness market.

The CN&GT work includes advanced capabilities-based, mission-focused, and fully integrated efforts to combat global threats posed by illicit narcotics trafficking and the resulting profiteering of criminal, terrorist, and militant organizations. Under this contract, CACI will provide logistics and operations support for both CENTCOM and its military and civilian partner agencies to disrupt illegal and terrorist activities underwritten by illicit narcotics activities.

John Mengucci, CACI’s Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations, said, “With this contract, CACI will continue to deliver the functional expertise, experienced personnel, and cutting-edge methodologies the counter-narcotics mission requires. CACI has an outstanding track record of performance supporting DoD and other partners in this mission.”

According to CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury, “CACI is resolutely committed to supporting the Air Combat Command and all the Geographic Combatant Commands to counter global threats enabled by narcotics activities. Our continued work in this area is critical to helping defeat terrorist organizations and other national security threats funded by illicit drug trafficking.”
