Xplore Delivers Digital Solution to Leading EMS Provider in Europe

Xplore Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: XPLR), manufacturer of the world’s broadest range of high-quality rugged tablet computers, announced today it has secured a $1 million contract for its Motion F5m by Xplore rugged tablet PCs with a leading EMS provider in Europe. The EMS provider chose Xplore rugged tablets as part of its strategic plan to enhance patient services by transitioning from paper-based documentation to a digital solution.

The F5m tablets and accessories will be used in emergency vehicles and non-transporting EMS vehicles, such as emergency physician cars and fire trucks, for electronic patient care reporting and access to data. All involved emergency care providers will have access to critical information through a shared database. The tablets will also be used to connect to medical devices, such as a defibrillator.
