Sources Tell Benzinga Multiple Bidders for FireEye

The Rumor:
Benzinga reported Thursday that there are multiple bidders for FireEye (NASDAQ: FEYE), according to sources familiar with the matter.

FireEye has been the subject of frequent takeover chatter, with Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) most often mentioned as the potential suitor.

FireEye closed Thursday at $16.47, up 3.72%.

Hershey Unanimously Rejects Mondelez Takeover Offer(

The Rejection:
The Hershey Company (NYSE: HSY) confirmed a report from Dow Jones on Thursday, that it had received a preliminary, non-binding indication of interest from Mondelēz International (NASDAQ: MDLZ) to acquire Hershey for $107 per share in cash and stock, as well as other non-monetary considerations.

Hershey's Board of Directors carefully evaluated the indication of interest and unanimously rejected the indication of interest and determined there was no basis for further discussion between the companies.

Hershey closed Thursday at $113.49, up 16.83%. Mondelez closed at $45.51, up 5.91%.

Hearing Unconfirmed Takeover Chatter in Potash

The Rumor:
Shares of Potash (NYSE: POT) spiked higher Thursday on unconfirmed market chatter of a potential takeover offer. "Sources" said Potash has received a proposal of $28 per share and is working with JP Morgan on a deal.

A spokesperson for Potash told Benzinga the company does not respond to speculation.

Potash closed at $16.24 on Thursday, up 1.25%.

Hearing Unconfirmed Takeover Chatter in SkyWorks

The Rumor:
Shares of SkyWorks Solutions (NASDAQ: SWKS) spiked higher Thursday, on unconfirmed market chatter of a potential takeover offer from Qualcomm. According to "sources" Qualcomm has offered $80 per share.

A spokesperson for SkyWorks told Benzinga the company does not comment on rumors. Qualcomm did not respond to a request for comment.

SkyWorks closed at $63.28 on Thursday, up 2.51%.
