Stocks Hitting 52-Week Highs

  • Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC) shares gained 0.8 percent to reach a new 52-week high of $23.29. Citigroup upgraded Symantec from Neutral to Buy.
  • Ross Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROST) shares gained 4.7 percent to touch a new 52-week high of $65.84 as the company reported better-than-expected quarterly earnings.
  • Applied Materials, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMAT) shares gained 6.1 percent to reach a new 52-week high of $29.35 as the company reported upbeat earnings for its fiscal third quarter and issued a strong earnings forecast for the current quarter.
  • CSP Inc. (NASDAQ: CSPI) shares touched a new 52-week high of $9.587. CSP reported Q3 earnings of $0.32 per share on revenue of $26.9 million.
