better-than-expected earnings for its third quarter and raised its 2016 forecast. American Express shares surged 5.47 percent
to $64.60 in the after-hours trading session.
- Analysts are expecting Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE: VZ) to have earned $0.99 per share on revenue of $31.19 billion in the latest
quarter. Verizon will release earnings before the markets open. Verizon shares gained 1.41 percent to $51.09 in after-hours
trading.
- After the markets close, Schlumberger Limited. (NYSE:
SLB) is estimated to post its quarterly earnings at $0.22 per share on revenue of $7.10 billion. Schlumberger shares gained
2.52 percent to close at $83.44 on Wednesday.

for its third quarter. However, guidance for the fourth quarter disappointed investors. eBay shares dropped 8 percent to $29.92
in the after-hours trading session.
- Wall Street expects Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:
MSFT) to post quarterly earnings at $0.68 per share on revenue of $21.71 billion after the closing bell. Microsoft shares
rose 0.07 percent to $57.57 in after-hours trading.
- Before the markets open, American Airlines Group Inc (NASDAQ: AAL) is projected to report its quarterly earnings at $1.57 per share on revenue
of $10.50 billion. American Airlines shares gained 1.38 percent to $41.19 in after-hours trading.

stronger-than-expected revenue for its third quarter on Wednesday. Mattel shares climbed 5.98 percent to $32.45 in the
after-hours trading session.
- Analysts expect Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE: UNP) to report quarterly earnings at $1.39 per share on revenue of $5.18 billion
before the opening bell. Union Pacific shares gained 1.65 percent to $98.72 in after-hours trading.
