A+ for Effort and Results: National Fenestration Rating Council Gives ADP and Intacct Integration High Marks for Time and Energy Savings

Integrating ADP Workforce Now(R) with Intacct's Cloud ERP System Helps Non-Profit Streamline Back-office Processes and Reduce Errors

ROSELAND, NJ--(Marketwired - Oct 26, 2016) -   The National Fenestration Rating Council® (NFRC) provides an energy performance rating label that helps consumers compare windows, doors, and skylights so they can choose the products that make their homes more comfortable and more energy efficient.

So it should come as no surprise that inefficient products and processes quickly raise a red flag for the organization.

Consider the case of Robin Clayton, senior director of Finance and Administration at NFRC. Her reports were hard to read and customize, she couldn't run payroll apart from time and attendance, and every employee had to clock-in every day. Clayton brought NFRC back to ADP -- following a brief hiatus -- and started using the ADP Workforce Now® platform.

"Once I saw the benefits of ADP Workforce Now I switched providers immediately," said Clayton. "Even though it was the middle of the year, which isn't optimal, I knew it would improve our operations."

Clayton added that the automation ADP brought to her organization allowed her to focus on what she needed to be doing -- serving as a strategic partner for senior leaders.

Another benefit of returning to ADP: The ability to integrate its HR and financial solutions. NFRC started using Intacct, a leading provider of cloud ERP software, three years ago and was thrilled to learn it could integrate Intacct's financial ERP system with ADP Workforce Now.

"I wear many hats and don't have the time to manage multiple systems," Clayton added. "Now I can sync employee data and post payroll entries. I'm working more efficiently than ever, and that's what it's all about."

Linda Mougalian, Vice President of Product Management for ADP's Major Account Services business, said she was delighted ADP and Intacct's partnership could help NFRC save time, eliminate manual processes and reduce errors to help the company stay compliant.

"Real-time integration between ADP Workforce Now and Intacct® Cloud ERP helps eliminate the possibility of inaccurate employee data due to dual entry, increasing staff productivity," added Mougalian. "Data integrity is critical in every aspect of every business -- especially as it pertains to human resources. If HR data is inaccurate or inconsistent, it can affect employees' paychecks, as well as productivity, the reputation of the company, and the bottom line."

NFRC said another benefit it's realizing is the ability to easily add new hires to the system.

"We hired five people this year, and we've really been able to streamline the process," added Carson. "I used to have to enter all the new-hire paperwork and payroll data into two separate systems, which was time consuming. The integration has made it seamless and eliminated the possibility of dual entry resulting in increased productivity."

Dan Miller, Vice President of Product Management at Intacct, added that integration and automation are key for businesses that want to ensure they are managing their cost structure effectively.

"Having the need to transfer data and keep systems in sync is part of what's necessary to keep a business running," said Miller. "We're excited to bring ERP and HCM together to help remove steps from the day-to-day processes for finance and HR leaders so they can focus more on what they need to do to help their companies succeed."
