Winners And Losers From This Week's 6 IPOs

GOLF, BL, ZTO

Six companies entered the IPO market in the current week. Of note, one company priced its IPO below the indicated price range and two companies priced its shares at above the initially indicated price range.

However, only one company, BlackLine Inc. (NASDAQ: BL) is trading above the IPO price range. As far as the other five stocks, a few of them opened slightly above the IPO price but fell quickly below the price.

Winners

  • Acushnet Holdings Corp. (NYSE: GOLF) came out with 19.33 million shares through IPO at a price range of $21.00–$24.00. The company priced its shares at $17.00, much below the indicated price. It opened at $17.04 on Friday and fell to a low of $16.90 before reaching $18.00.
  • BlackLine came out with 8.6 million IPO with an initial pricing of $13.00–$15.00. The company priced its share at $17.00 and opened at $24.52 on Friday. The stock traded between $24.00 and $25.75.

Losers

  • Myovant Sciences (NYSE: MYOV) came out with an IPO of 1.95 million shares with the initial price range of $12–$15. The stock was priced at $15.00 and opened at the same price on Thursday. However, it could not hold on and fell to a low of $12.06 on Friday, trading between $12.06 and $13.55.
  • QUANTENNA Communications Inc. (NASDAQ: QTNA) announced 6.7 million shares of IPO with an initial price range of $14.00–$16.00. The company priced its share at $16.00, and the stock opened at $16.80 on Friday. However, the stock fell below the IPO price to reach $15.20 after hitting $17.30.
  • RA Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: RARX) came out with 7.049 million IPO with a price range of $12.00–$14.00 initially. The company priced its shares at $13.00 a share. The stock opened at $14.16 on Thursday and traded between $14.86 and $12.50.
  • ZTO Express (NYSE: ZTO) issued 72.1 million shares through IPO with a $16.50–$18.50 price range. The company priced its stock at $19.50 and opened at $18.40, below the IPO price on Thursday. The stock traded between $16.50 and $18.45.

At Last Check ...

  • Acushnet traded at $17.33, above the IPO price of $17.00.
  • BlackLine traded up by 41.47 percent to $24.05, above the IPO price of $17.00.
  • Myovant Sciences dropped 4.26 percent to $12.69, below IPO price of $15.00.
  • Quantenna fell 4.06 percent to $15.35, below the IPO price of $16.00.
  • RA Pharmaceuticals shed 0.85 percent to $12.89, below IPO price of $13.
  • ZTO traded up by 1.99 percent to $16.90, below IPO price of $19.50.
