the Canadian Electricity Association (CEA) President's Award of Excellence for Employee Safety (gold level) as well as the CEA
Vice-President's Award of Safety Excellence for Generation (bronze level) for its 2015 safety performance at its Canadian
operations.

The CEA's annual Occupational Health and Safety Awards Ceremony took place in Toronto on November 16 amongst companies
representing the electricity industry. The awards recognize top safety performing companies in the electricity sector. This was
the third consecutive and fourth overall year that Capital Power received the CEA's President's Award of Excellence for Employee
Safety.
In 2015, we delivered our best health and safety performance to date earning a spot in the top quartile in our industry for a
second consecutive year.
In addition to the corporate awards, Capital Power long-term contractor Tara Arbeau was presented with a Lifesaving Award.
Lifesaving Awards are presented to CEA utility member employees who saved or attempted to save a life or those who acted to
prevent further harm to someone who was injured or in need of immediate help.

the very top of the electricity industry in terms of employee safety. Initiated in 2012, the CEA Vice-President's Award of Safety
Excellence recognizes the safety performance by CEA member utilities according to their line of business (Generation /
Transmission and Distribution). Recipients must be within the top 25 percent for both "All Injury/Illness Frequency" and
"Lost-Time Injury Severity" Rates across the CEA (President's Award) and/or according to their line of business (Vice-President's
Award).
