The Consumer Electronics Show will be held January 5–8 in Las Vegas. According to a team of
analysts with Keybanc, the event has transformed over the past few years to
become mostly an automotive
show.
In fact, 2017's event will feature keynote presentations and
demonstrations from nearly every major automaker and tier-1 supplier.
The analysts are expecting several partnerships between to be announced involving auto-makers, suppliers and/or technology
providers.
"We continue to believe that as the competitive landscape for emerging vehicle technologies intensifies, industry participants
are likely to aggressively commit capital toward technologies enabling ADAS, autonomous, electrification and fuel efficiency as the
automotive cycle peaks globally," the analysts wrote.
