Electronics Show, January will see some of the market’s most notable events in the technology, finance and healthcare
domains.
Here is a brief overview of various influential events set to unfold in January.
- Citi would conduct its 2017 Internet, Media & Telecommunications Conference in Las Vegas between January 3-5. Companies
including Equinix Inc (NASDAQ: EQIX) and
Telephone & Data Systems, Inc. (NYSE: TDS)
would participate in the event.
- At CES, which takes place between January 5 -8, almost all major
auto, technology and semiconductor firms would participate, with popular names such as Delphi Automotive
PLC (NYSE: DLPH), QUALCOMM, Inc.
(NASDAQ: QCOM), NVIDIA
Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) and Mobileye
NV (NYSE: MBLY).
- North American International Auto Show, one of the most prestigious auto shows in the world, will be held in Detroit on
January 8–22. The participants include Waymo, Visteon Corp (NYSE: VC), Magna International Inc. (USA) (NYSE: MGA) and Hitachi, Ltd. (ADR) (OTC: HTHIY).
- JPMorgan's Healthcare Conference is set to take place in San Francisco from January 9-12. Key participants include
Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: GILD),
Acorda Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ: ACOR)
and Mallinckrodt PLC (NYSE: MNK).
- Television Critics Association Tour will be held from January 5-18, with industry behemoths such as Walt Disney
Co (NYSE: DIS) and CBS Corporation
(NYSE: CBS) participating.
