General Dynamics Wins $155 Million Enterprise Communications Contract from Defense Intelligence Agency

FAIRFAX, Va., Feb. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), was awarded a task order by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to manage enterprise communications for the Combatant Commands and its subordinate units. The Enterprise Communications Services 2 (ECS2) contract has a five-year ordering period of $155 million and was awarded under DIA's Enhanced Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (E-SITE), multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract vehicle.

General Dynamics will manage and expand the secure voice, video and data services required by the Combatant Commands and its subordinate units. Work on the contract will be performed in the National Capitol Region as well as major service centers, operating locations, customer facilities and field sites worldwide.
