Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

  • Wall Street expects Kohl's Corporation (NYSE: KSS) to report quarterly earnings at $1.33 per share on revenue of $6.22 billion before the opening bell. Kohl's shares fell 0.91 percent to $41.40 in after-hours trading.
  • Analysts expect Nordstrom, Inc. (NYSE: JWN) to post quarterly earnings at $1.08 per share on revenue of $4.37 billion after the closing bell. Nordstrom shares dropped 1.13 percent to close at $45.35 on Wednesday.
  • Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) reported a wider-than-expected Q4 loss, while revenue exceeded expectations. Tesla shares rose 1.52 percent to $277.67 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Before the markets open, Sanderson Farms, Inc. (NASDAQ: SAFM) is projected to report its quarterly earnings at $1.40 per share on revenue of $ 696.25 million. Sanderson Farms shares slipped 1.53 percent to close at $93.67 on Wednesday.
  • HP Inc (NYSE: HPQ) reported better-than-expected results for its first quarter on Wednesday. HP shares gained 2.41 percent to $16.59 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Gap Inc (NYSE: GPS) to have earned $0.45 per share on revenue of $4.39 billion in the latest quarter. Gap shares declined 0.28 percent to $24.80 in after-hours trading.

  • After the closing bell, Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF) is estimated to post its quarterly earnings at $0.97 per share on revenue of $1.05 billion. Herbalife shares slipped 0.65 percent to close at $60.74 on Wednesday.
  • Fitbit Inc (NYSE: FIT) posted downbeat results for its fourth quarter and issued a weak forecast for the current quarter. The company sold 6.5 million devices in the quarter. Fitbit shares rose 1.19 percent to $5.95 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Wall Street expects Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co (NYSE: HPE) to post quarterly earnings at $0.44 per share on revenue of $12.09 billion after the closing bell. Hewlett Packard Enterprise shares gained 0.56 percent to $24.92 in after-hours trading.
  • L Brands Inc (NYSE: LB) reported upbeat earnings for its fourth quarter, but issued disappointing outlook for 2017. L Brands shares dipped 13.09 percent to $50.52 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts expect Hormel Foods Corp (NYSE: HRL) to report quarterly earnings at $0.45 per share on revenue of $2.28 billion before the opening bell. Hormel shares gained 1.21 percent to $37.75 in after-hours trading.
  • Jack in the Box Inc. (NASDAQ: JACK) posted downbeat results for its first quarter and issued a weak forecast for the full year. Jack in the Box shares tumbled 9.70 percent to $93.55 in the after-hours trading session.
