ST. LOUIS, March 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ --
DETAILS:
A recent executive order confirmed the Trump administration's intent to scale back the Affordable Care Act (ACA) as
part of a larger repeal and replace strategy. Despite setting off a flurry of speculation, the ACA legislation remains unchanged
for now. During an upcoming appearance on HRExaminer Radio - Executive Conversations, Kristin
Lewis, senior director of Product Management at Equifax Workforce Solutions, will join industry analyst John Sumser to discuss what
the order means to employers, their employees and the future of ACA.
At this time, the action has no material impact on the legislation or employers, though this may change as new leaders
appointed to the Department of Health and Human Services and Internal Revenue Service issue responses. While employers are not
explicitly mentioned in the existing executive order, organizations across the U.S. are wondering what the order may mean for
them in both the short and long term. Through their conversation, Lewis and Sumser will explore possible implications of the
order, looking at the ACA as it stands today and possible outlook for the future.
Attendees: Business leaders, HR and benefits professionals interested in learning more about updates and actions
impacting the ACA are encouraged to listen to the episode.
