Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

  • Wall Street expects McDonald's Corporation (NYSE: MCD) to report quarterly earnings at $1.33 per share on revenue of $5.51 billion before the opening bell. McDonald's shares slipped 0.32 percent to $133.80 in after-hours trading.
  • Analysts expect AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) to post quarterly earnings at $0.75 per share on revenue of $40.67 billion after the closing bell. AT&T shares gained 0.23 percent to close at $40.02 on Monday.
  • Before the markets open, Rite Aid Corporation (NYSE: RAD) is estimated to report a quarterly loss at $0.02 per share on revenue of $8.27 billion. Rite Aid shares gained 1.07 percent to $3.77 in after-hours trading.
  • Analysts are expecting The Coca-Cola Co (NYSE: KO) to have earned $0.44 per share on revenue of $8.89 billion in the latest quarter. Coca-Cola will release earnings before the markets open. Coca-Cola shares rose 0.09 percent to $43.32 in after-hours trading.
  • Express Scripts Holding Company (NASDAQ: ESRX) reported upbeat earnings for its first quarter, but sales missed expectations. The company also disclosed that its biggest customer Anthem Inc (NYSE: ANTM) was unlikely to renew a services contract after it expires in 2019. Express Scripts shares dipped 13.99 percent to $57.84 in pre-market trading.
  • After the closing bell, Capital One Financial Corp. (NYSE: COF) is projected to post quarterly earnings at $1.93 per share on revenue of $6.68 billion. Capital One shares rose 2.43 percent to close at $84.68 on Monday.
  • Wall Street expects <Texas Instruments Incorporated (NASDAQ: TXN) is estimated to post quarterly earnings at $0.83 per share on revenue of $3.30 billion after the closing bell. Texas Instruments shares gained 0.76 percent to $81.70 in after-hours trading.
  • Before the opening bell, Eli Lilly and Co (NYSE: LLY) is projected to report quarterly earnings at $0.96 per share on revenue of $5.21 billion. Eli Lilly shares gained 0.22 percent to $83.60 in after-hours trading.

  • After the markets close, United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X) is estimated to post quarterly earnings at $0.35 per share on revenue of $2.89 billion. United States Steel shares rose 0.58 percent to $31.38 in after-hours trading.
  • Alcoa Corp (NYSE: AA) posted better-than-expected earnings for its first quarter on Monday. Alcoa shares rose 2.97 percent to $34.30 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Before the opening bell, JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ: JBLU) is expected to report quarterly earnings at $0.25 per share on revenue of $1.64 billion. JetBlue shares rose 0.92 percent to $21.95 in after-hours trading.
