Xinyuan Real Estate Co., Ltd. ("Xinyuan" or "the Company") (NYSE: XIN), an NYSE-listed real estate developer and property
manager primarily in China and recently in other countries, announced that a notice regarding
the redemption of its outstanding 13.0% Senior Notes due 2019 (the "2019 Notes") in full on July 10,
2017 has been given to the holders of the 2019 Notes and filed with Singapore Exchange.
As of the date when such announcement was delivered to corresponding bond holders, the outstanding principal amount of
the 2019 Notes is US$200 million. Xinyuan will fund the redemption using the net proceeds from the
offering of its 7.75% Senior Notes due 2021 issued on February 21, 2017.
Mr. Yong Zhang, Chairman of Xinyuan, commented, "We are glad to announce the early
redemption of the 2019 Notes. We believe this transaction will improve our balance sheet, extend the maturity of the Company's
long-term debt and lower our interest level. We will continue to consider options to further reduce debt while increasing cash
