Gilles Laporte elected on the Board of Directors of Ergoresearch Ltd

LAVAL, QC, Aug. 29, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ -  Ergoresearch Ltd ("Ergoresearch" or "the Company") based in Laval and known under the «Équilibre, orthèses et biomécanique» banner – announces that following a meeting of the Board of Directors, Mr. Gilles Laporte was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Ergoresearch Ltd.

Mr. Laporte had been a director of Ergoresearch Ltd from 2012 to December 2016 when he had not renewed his mandate for personal reasons. Mr. Laporte is a current member of the Board of Directors of Mediagrif Interactive Technologies Inc. and also serves, as director, on other private companies. From January 2001 to October 2011, he was Senior Vice President, Business Development for Logibec Groupe Informatique Ltée.  He previously served as President of Calculus Informatique Ltd., a privately held IT services company, and also acted as Vice-President of the National Bank of Canada, a subsidiary of the National Bank of Canada.

This appointment brings the total number of members of the Board of Directors to six. Other directors of the Company are Sylvain Boucher, President and Chief Executive Officer, Danielle Boucher, Catherine Chamouton, Michel Pierron and François Tellier.
