Berman Tabacco Investigates Equifax, Inc. For Possible Security Law Violations

On September 7, 2017, Equifax announced a “cybersecurity incident potentially impacting approximately 143 million U.S.
consumers.” Further, the Company disclosed that “the information accessed primarily includes names, Social Security numbers, birth
dates, addresses and, in some instances, driver’s license numbers.” The Company’s share price fell significantly on September 8,
2017.
Also of note, Bloomberg has reported that just days after the security breach was discovered, three of the Company’s senior
executives sold almost $1.8 million worth of Equifax shares.
