Calgary, Alberta (FSCwire) - Sparta Capital Ltd. (TSXV: SAY) (the
“Corporation” or “Sparta”) is pleased to announce the appointment of John O’Bireck as Chief
Technology Officer of the Corporation. Mr. O’Bireck has been a director of the Corporation since April 2013, as well as serving
as President of Sparta since May 2017, and he will continue in these roles. Mr. O’Bireck is a Control Systems Engineer and has
previously served as Vice President at several engineering service firms, in addition he has held the positions of Chief
Technology Officer and Vice President of Advanced Product Development at various public and private companies.
The Corporation is also pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Carleton as Executive Vice President and
Corporate Secretary of Sparta. Mr. Carleton is currently general counsel to the Corporation and will continue on in this role.
Mr. Carleton has been general counsel to the Corporation since December 2017 and prior to this acted as external counsel to the
Corporation since July 2014. Before joining Sparta Mr. Carleton practiced corporate and securities law for a number of public and
private issuers.
