ATLANTA, June 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Atlantic American Corporation (Nasdaq:AAME) today announced that the
Board of Directors has appointed Rick D. Burns to serve as Executive Vice President of Atlantic American Corporation as well as
Executive Vice President of its Bankers Fidelity Life Insurance Company and Bankers Fidelity Assurance Company subsidiaries. He has
been serving as Vice President of Marketing since March 2015.
Mr. Burns began his career at Atlantic American as a Marketing Specialist and has since worked his way up the ladder, serving as
the Director of Marketing Operations from 2012-2014 and as Assistant Vice President of Marketing from 2014-2015 before being
appointed Vice President of Marketing in March 2015. He also has served as Director of Corporate Relations for the parent
company since May 2013. Mr. Burns received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Rutgers University in 2001 and his
MBA from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business in 2013.
