BioSig Technologies Added to LD Micro Index

BSGM

Santa Monica, CA, Aug. 06, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- BioSig Technologies, Inc. (BSGM), a medical device company developing a proprietary biomedical signal processing platform designed to address an unmet technology need for the $4.6 billion electrophysiology (EP) marketplace, announced that it has been added into the LD Micro Index, effective August 2, 2018.

The LD Micro Index is designed to give the most accurate representation of the intraday activity of microcap stocks in North America. It employs a mixture of screening for inclusion and manual exclusion where deemed appropriate.  The index is market cap weighted and is comprised of approximately 1,014 stocks in the U.S. and Canada with market capitalizations between $50 million and $300 million. For more information, please visit: https://www.ldmicro.com/the-index

"I am honored to welcome BioSig Technologies to the LD Micro Index,” stated Mr. Chris Lahiji, Founder of LD Micro. “The company’s technology, coupled with the strong board of directors and management team, is an ideal representation of the under-followed growth company that the index is meant to showcase.”

"Management is extremely pleased to join the LD Micro Index at such a key inflection point in our development,” stated Mr. Kenneth L. Londoner, Chairman and CEO of BioSig Technologies. “This accomplishment pairs well with our recently announced application to uplist to Nasdaq. As we move forward with our 510(k) application with FDA and advance towards commercialization, we are excited to communicate new achievements with a larger investment audience.”

About BioSig Technologies
BioSig Technologies is a medical technology company developing a proprietary biomedical signal processing platform designed to improve the $4.6 billion electrophysiology (EP) marketplace (www.biosigtech.com). The Company’s first product, PURE EP™ System, is a novel cardiac signal acquisition and display system which is engineered to assist electrophysiologists in clinical decision making during procedures to diagnose and treat patients with abnormal heart rates and rhythms. BioSig’s main goal is to deliver technology to improve upon catheter ablation treatments for the prevalent and potentially deadly arrhythmias, Atrial Fibrillation and Ventricular Tachycardia. BioSig has partnered with Minnetronix on technology development and is working toward FDA 510(k) clearance for the PURE EP™ System.
