MONTREAL, Oct. 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Laurentian Bank has been informed by the Canadian Industrial Labour
Relations Board (CIRB) that the CIRB received a new motion from a group of Laurentian Bank employees asking to revoke the COPE -
Local 434 Union accreditation, covering some 1,250 unionized employees. The majority of these employees work in branches in the
Province of Quebec while some work in the Montreal corporate office. These employees have been without a contract since December
31, 2017.
The Bank employs more than 3,800 individuals across Canada.
According to applicable legislation, a CIRB Officer has been designated to supervise the next steps of this
motion.
