HERITAGE CANNABIS HOLDINGS CORPORATION (CSE: CANN) (“Heritage” or “Company”) is pleased to announce the addition of two new key members of management for the grow
team.
Joining the team in British Columbia as Master Grower is Greg Salloum. Mr. Salloum
has his BSc in Agriculture from McGill, and MSc from UBC. His post graduate degree thesis was a cross disciplinary
effort in Entomology and Plant Biochemistry. In 2013, Greg joined We Grow BC, a Licensed Producer, as the Manager Quality Assurance
performing all necessary duties and responsibilities associated with the role of quality assurance. He assisted with all aspects of
cultivation including pest management, pruning, harvesting, trimming, packaging, and destruction. Greg left We Grow BC recently to
pursue other interests closer to home and has now joined the Heritage group of companies as a designated Master
Grower.
Also coming onboard in the role of Quality Assurance Associate at PhyeinMed, a Licensed Producer
subsidiary of Heritage, is Ajaypal Singh. Mr. Singh earned his PhD from McGill in 2012, with a focus on Food Process validation and
Engineering. Among his many achievements, Ajaypal, is a past winner of the prestigious Mitacs postdoctoral award, and the McGill
International Doctoral award. He comes to PhyeinMed after being a Food processing/safety advisor for the Canadian Food Inspection
Agency (“CFIA”). In addition to this role, he also serves on the board of directors
of the Leqamel first Nations, and an advisory board position for the CFIA.
“One of our top priorities at Heritage is to build a management team which has the skills and
experience to take our company into the future” says Clint Sharples, Chairman and interim CEO of Heritage “by adding Greg and
Ajaypal, we have strengthened our grow team, which is necessary to assist with our ambitious growth plans.”
