VANCOUVER, British Columbia , April 03, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Independence Gold Corp. (TSX.V:
IGO) ("Independence" or "the Company") is pleased to announces it has received TSX Venture Exchange approval and made the
initial option payments totalling $20,000 and issued an aggregate of 200,000 common shares (the “Shares”) to Almadex Minerals Ltd.
(“Almadex”) to acquire a 60% interest in each of the Merit and Nicoamen properties pursuant to the terms of two definitive option
agreements with Almadex (the “Option Agreements”). The Shares are subject to a hold period of four months and one day.
The Merit and Nicoamen properties (the “Properties”) are located in the Spences Bridge Gold Belt of southern BC.
