LICY NEWS: Johnson Fistel Encourages Li-Cycle Investors to Seek Counsel Before Lead Plaintiff Class Action Deadline

San Diego, California--(Newsfile Corp. - January 4, 2024) - Johnson Fistel, LLP notifies investors of Li-Cycle Holdings Corp. (NYSE: LICY) a securities class action lawsuit has been filed. The Li-Cycle class action lawsuit alleges that defendants during the Class Period made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (i) Li-Cycle's Rochester Hub was experiencing escalating construction costs; (ii) these "escalating construction costs" exceeded the expected aggregate cost of the project; and (iii) as a result, Li-Cycle would be forced to temporarily halt construction and reevaluate the construction strategy for the Rochester Hub.

The lawsuit seeks to recover losses on behalf of investors who acquired securities between June 14, 2022 and October 23, 2023. Investors have until January 8, 2024, to apply to the Court to be appointed as lead plaintiff in the lawsuit.
