Aduro Clean Technologies (ACT) now has a membership in the Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC) as part of its Plastics Division.

CIAC is the association of leaders in Canada’s chemistry and plastics sector.

Its Plastics Division is committed to the establishment of a low-carbon circular economy for plastics, including increased use of recycled plastic.

The Aduro Hydrochemolytic™ Technology has a chemical recycling solution that can process a wider range of plastics that are currently ending up in landfills.

In doing so, it converts a higher volume of low-value waste plastics into valuable resources.

The company is eager to work with others who share its vision of a sustainable future.

Chemistry Industry Association of Canada (CIAC)

The CIAC Plastics Division has around 70 members who are in the plastic industry and have committed to 100 per cent of plastic packaging being recyclable by 2030 and reused or recycled by 2040.

According to the company, commitments made by leading plastic companies help move the business in the direction of advanced chemical recycling solutions.

Vicus went on to add, “Aduro is committed to working alongside other members of the CIAC Plastics Division to promote Canada’s low-carbon plastics industry and make a positive impact on the environment.”
