Cross River Ventures (CRVC) announced its exploration plans for the Manitou Gold Project.
The company said it plans to complete a work program at the project over the summer.
Additionally, the company completed at the end of 2022 a property-wide helicopter-borne magnetic survey, which totaled 1,632 line kilometres with a 50-metre line spacing. This was followed up with a Lidar survey in order to enhance the structural detail of the magnetic survey.
According to the Ontario Mineral Database, there are 16 gold occurrences within the land position, most of which contain shear-hosted gold and sulfide mineralization. High-grade gold samples have also been collected, including a 78.1 g/t gold grab sample from the Bird Island occurrence.
The Manitou Gold Project is located 50 kilometres south of Dryden, Ontario and 350 kilometres west of Thunder Bay.
