Cullinan Metals Corp. (CMT) has completed geophysical surveys at its Lac des Iles west graphite property.

The property is located in Québec’s Mont Laurier Region and consists of 43 mineral claims in one contiguous block covering approximately 22.7 sq. km.

Situated near the Lac des Iles graphite mine and mill, where graphite production capacity is 25,000 tonnes annually, it is underlain by a similar geological environment.

Airborne magnetic and time-domain electromagnetic geophysical surveys were conducted over the Property by Prospectair Geosurveys in April 2023.

There are large flake graphite showings located on the property, typically present in shear zones within gneisses where the graphite content usually ranges from trace to 3.47 per cent graphitic carbon (Cg).

“We are excited about getting our exploration program up and running for the season. The geophysics will help identify high priority targets,” said Marc Enright-Morin, President and CEO of Cullinan Metals. “The identification of high-priority targets will provide us with a clear roadmap for our upcoming exploration program, and we look forward to advancing our understanding of the property’s potential.”

Cullinan Metals is engaged in exploring the company’s principal mineral property located in Quebec, which is in the exploration stage.

Cullinan Metals Corp. (CMT) opened trading at $0.48 per share.
