Air Canada (TSX:AC) welcomes Mickey Mouse on board … well kind of.
The company released a new in-flight safety video in collaboration with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
Shot by Canadian film director Melanie Chung, the video builds on the importance and bonds of family.
The video, which is previewed in the teaser below, will air on 90 per cent of the Air Canada fleets this summer through to September.
Engaging with travelers on safety features
“Our new in-flight safety video encourages travelers of all ages to learn about the safety features of our aircraft in a new and engaging way [with Walt Disney],” said Andy Shibata, vice president – brand, Air Canada.
In addition to the traditional safety demonstrations, the video also shows The Most Magical Place on Earth.
Through the video, Air Canada and Walt Disney, have captured a unique and exciting storytelling experience.
“Over the last few years, we’ve been focused on improving the Air Canada family travel experience with family-friendly policies, family check-in counters, and shared family benefits in our Aeroplan loyalty program,” added Shibata.
Air Canada is continuing to focus on making a magical travel experience for customers, adding investments into product improvements and features.
The aviation company is Canada’s largest, and has scheduled flights to more than 180 airports in Canada, the United States and Internationally on six continents.
