One-stop commerce platform Lightspeed Commerce (TSX:LSPD) unveiled new product features recently released to merchants.
The new features were custom-built into both flagship products – Lightspeed Retail and Lightspeed Restaurant – to eliminate mundane tasks to make running their businesses easier and more efficient.
One of Lightspeed Restaurant’s newest features, Smart Items allows inputting and updating the point of sale in seconds, using AI, data and insights to simplify building new menus. The solution can generate product information, create images to match, and auto translate the menu into multiple languages.
The Advanced Insights tool has two new features, one is Magic Menu Quadrant, which offers merchants insights into popular items and what encourages repeat dining.
NuORDER Assortments through Lightspeed Retail can optimize inventory allocation, identify merchandising gaps, and make more informed range planning decisions.
“Merchants start businesses out of passion, not because they love spending hours on inventory, reconciliation, or schedules,” Ryan Tabone, chief product and technology officer of Lightspeed, said in a news release. “Our job as their technology partner is to empower them with the tools that simplify how they operate, so they can focus on their customers and scale their business. This latest round of new product features is the start of a string of functionality that gives them that ability, as well as an edge in their respective markets.”
Lightspeed Payments continues to expand its availability across the globe and with these launches, is now available in Canada, Australia, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, France, Netherlands, United States and United Kingdom, making international transactions more accessible.
Lightspeed Commerce Inc. provides an omnichannel commerce-enabling SaaS platform. Its software platform provides customers with the functionality it needs to engage with consumers, manage their operations, accept payments, and grow their business.
