Rover Metals (TSXV:ROVR) has submitted a plan of operation for its Let’s Go Lithium project in Nevada.

The company announced in a statement that it has been working with McGinley and Associates, dba UES (UES) since August on the plan.

Part of the plan includes the water table flow model developed by the UES team, including UES’s Principal Hydrologist Dwight Smith PE, PG, CHg. Through UES, the company expects to begin baseline environmental surveys in early spring 2024.

“The plan was developed to ensure that there will be no impact to the critical water tables and sensitive biological resources in the Amargosa basin,” Rover Metals’ CEO Judson Cutler said in a statement. “Management at Rover and UES feel confident that sustainable lithium mining can be supported in the Amargosa Valley.”

In the first half of 2024, the company anticipates exploring battery recycling partnerships and other recycling technology companies.

Located in a flat play in an ancient volcanic lakebed, the Let’s Go Lithiium project is a claystone sedimentary lithium project that spans 8,300 acres in size.

A Phase 1 surface sampling program was announced in September 2023 and returned multiple high-grade surface lithium samples.

Rover Metals has a diverse portfolio of mining resource development projects with varying exploration timelines. Its critical mineral projects include lithium, zinc and copper. Its precious metals projects include gold and silver.

Shares of Rover Metals are unchanged at C$0.035.
