Beyond Lithium (CSE:BY) has officially received exploration permits for its Victory Project and Ear Falls project in Ontario.
The company stated in a news release it received the approvals from Ontario’s Ministry of Mines and that each application is for 30 drilling sites and 20 stripping locations.
While each drill site will drill multiple holes, the stripping locations will focus on each project’s main exploration corridors.
Beyond Lithium explained that the drill programs will primarily focus on defining and expanding the identified spodumene-bearing pegmatite zones and drill testing the different prospective areas along the exploration corridors.
“In the last six months, we have explored 50 of our 63 projects, advanced 18 projects to Phase 2 exploration and have 10 more highly prospective projects to start exploring in 2024. We also made three significant discoveries, including two spodumene discoveries, which are now moving to the drilling stage,” Allan Frame, CEO of Beyond Lithium, said in a statement.
The company previously reported that more than 240 drill core samples from Ear Falls, 25 channel samples from Victory and more than 120 grab samples from other projects are pending in the lab.
Once Beyond Lithium receives the results, it will complete a technical review and prepare for an exploration program in 2024.
Beyond Lithium is a greenfield lithium exploration company that owns approximately 64 greenfield lithium properties totaling more than 150,000 hectares. The company is advancing certain of its projects and seeks to option other properties to joint venture partners.
Shares of Beyond Lithium are up 8.77 per cent to C$0.31 as of 12:46 pm ET.
