Bayhorse Silver (TSXV:BHS) has revealed strong magnetic results from its Geotech helicopter-borne VTEM and horizontal magnetic gradiometer geophysical survey from its Bayhorse Silver Mine in Oregon and Idaho.

In a news release, the company stated it discovered the presence of three significant magnetic anomalies across an area 1.8 kilometres by 1.2 kilometres in the northern region of the property.

“… The large significant magnetic anomalies in the north of the Idaho property may significantly increase the discovery potential of additional Bayhorse style silver-rich mineralization such as is present at the Bayhorse Silver Mine, as well as a copper porphyry deposit as found at Hercules Silver property, 44 km to the north in similar geological terrain,” Graeme O’Neill, CEO of Bayhorse Silver, said in a statement.

The company also stated potentially two different mineralized targets are on the Idaho claims, including a Bayhorse Mine-style silver-rich massive sulphide similar to the strong magnetic signatures as well as a potential Hercules Silver-type copper porphyry target.

Historic gold grades of up to 10 grams per ton (g/t) at the Bayhorse Mine and the presence of high-grade gold properties near the Bayhorse Mine have led the company to believe that silver-rich Bayhorse Mine epithermal mineralization be be underlain by a gold-rich zone.

Surface sampling was also completed during recent staking of the Idaho property where more copper-stained surface exposures were found.

Bayhorse Silver is an exploration and production company with a 100 per cent interest in the Bayhorse Silver Mine in Oregon.

Shares of Bayhorse Silver are up 27.27 per cent to C$0.07 as of 11:15 am ET
