- Silver Dollar Resources has begun its re-evaluation of the Nora silver-gold property in the state of Durango, Mexico
- Fieldwork was done in late February that included geological mapping and sampling of priority targets
- Resampling of the Candy Vein surface samples was also collected
- Shares of Silver Dollar Resources are down 13.24 per cent to C$0.29 as of 12:25 pm ET
Silver Dollar Resources (CSE:SLV) has kickstarted the re-evaluation process of its Nora silver-gold property in the state of Durango, Mexico.
In a news release, the Vancouver-based company stated fieldwork was done in late February and included geological mapping and sampling of priority targets.
Resampling at the Candy Vein was also completed with 72 surface samples collected and included:
- 12 soil grid samples were taken from the East anomaly
- 10 soil grid samples were taken from the West anomaly
- Nine soil grid samples were taken from the South anomaly
- 41 rock/chip samples were taken from the main Candy Vein structure in an attempt to replicate the sample locations and high-grade results originally reported by Canasil Resources
All samples have been delivered to ActLabs in Zacatecas, Mexico, for analysis with results reported once received.
Silver Dollar Resources owns 100 per cent of the property that is in the Eastern Sierra Madre sub-province in the transition to the high plateau of Mexico. The property is also ideally located roughly 200 kilometres north-northwest of Durango, Mexico, with year-round access via federal highway, paved road and local dirt roads.
Silver Dollar Resources is a mineral exploration company with primary projects that are within Mexico’s prolific Durango-Zacatecas silver-gold belt.
