GGL Resources (TSXV:GGL) has reported high-grade gold and silver results from recent surface and underground sampling at its Gold Point Project in Nevada.

In a news release, the Vancouver-based company stated that 86 rock samples were collected from surface and 14 from underground workings on the company’s newly acquired veins at the property.

From the samples, 13 returned values greater than 5 grams per ton (g/t) gold and 12 greater than 100 g/t silver.

According to GGL Resources, the claims cover an area with low topographic relief and where hummocks that host the vein exposures are surrounded by extensive alluvial cover. Six well-mineralized vein zones were identified on the claims.

Seven adits or shafts were also identified while preliminary surveying and reconnaissance sampling were completed in four of the underground workings.

The Cook Mine, which is the largest of these workings, comprises more than 300 metres of horizontal development on two levels along the Cook Vein.

Other work at the property included an induced polarization survey, which was completed in February 2024 over the Le Champ porphyry target. Results will be revealed once they have been received and interpreted.

The Gold Point Project within the Walker Lane in Nevada is made up of 378 lode claims and seven patented claims covering a total area of approximately 7,443 acres.

The project also includes several past-producing underground mines that explored along parts of four prominent vein structures.

GGL Resources is a junior exploration company that has optioned and wholly owned claims in the Gold Point district of the prolific Walker Lane Trend, Nevada. The Gold Point claims cover several gold-silver veins, four of which are host to past-producing high-grade mines, and a new porphyry discovery.

Shares of GGL Resources are up 18.18 per cent to C$0.065 as of 9:31 am ET.
