Empire Industries (TSX-V: EIL) CEO Guy Nelson announced that he has appointed a new executive team. Furthermore, the company has strengthened the emphasis of its attractions division and will be opening a new factory.
Supercar executive Hao Wang has been hired as president, Dynamic Attractions. Wang, who will join Dynamic in the fall, is currently Vice President at Multimatic Inc., a global, high performance car manufacturing company in Ontario. His ability to patent award-winning innovations and create precision engineering teams is of high importance to Dynamic’s future.
Also, Empire has appointed a new executive team, putting greater emphasis on themed attraction contract execution and co-ventures.
Next month the company is opening a new assembly facility next to its 9-acre Ride Development Center in Vancouver, Canada. The 50,000 square foot, high-tech factory will be used to assemble sophisticated ride systems featured in the company’s attractions at major tourist destinations and theme parks.
Last year the company opened more than twice as many attractions than any previous year. Furthermore, the company has already surpassed its previous record for new contracts in a year.
“The themed attractions market is growing at a thrilling speed. With these promotions and additions to our executive leadership team, we have greatly enhanced our operational and creative leadership for the global markets we are leaders in,” states Mr. Nelson. “They also reflect Empire’s commitment to increase our capacity to manage this growth.”
