The focus of Happy Creek Minerals is on our Fox tungsten discovery. It's a very hard and dense metal, it's used in manufacturing. It's probably the only new at surface tungsten discovery of its kind, it has among the highest grades in the western world.
The 100% owned, 130 square kilometre Fox tungsten property has a large scale 10 km by 3 km mineral system with grades that are among the best in the industry. At the Ridley Creek zone, the indicated in-pit grade of 0.729% WO3 and the BN zone underground inferred grade of 1.892% WO3 are similar to the Cantung mine (closed) that, at 1200 tonnes per day in recent years, was among the highest grade and largest producer outside of China. The Company’s deposits remain open to further expansion and there are 5 other zones at surface on the property.
