Class Action against Clairvest certified

The $60 million class action against Clairvest was certified today and can proceed against all defendants including Ken Rotman and former Ontario finance minister Rod Pillips.

Any precedence on this type of insider transfer in public companies which screwed up the bondholders and did the court entertain arguments from bondholders?  Also, what were the remedies ordered?

Agreed. Unless there is a bidder out there that can make an offer high enough that some of the funds waterfall down to DA.DB this thing is not worth anything. Unfortunate to see it play out this way.
