Pivot Bio has reached a value close to $2billion after raising $430million. They are an agricultural innovation company. Similar to current nitrogen fixing plants which fix nitrogen directly from the air (and are often used as part of crop rotations) the company basically wants to seed the soil with nitrogen fixing bacteria.

High salt content and chlorine are not good for bacterial growth. Given the low salt index of Verdes products on the surface this seems like an ideal match of products. Would appreciate hearing the opinions of others.

Hello Sugoioi,

Interesting post. Any farmer spending money to put nitrogen fixing bacteria in the soil would naturally wish to ensure this bacteria thrived and did its job, otherwise why go to the expense. Mixing existing high salt fertilizers with their products would be a disaster, so it would be a natural to have them test and then endorse Verde's chlorine free products for use with their innovations in the Nitrogen area.

Someone from Verde needs to reach out to connect with the folks at Pivot.

Great find, well done, and thanks for posting to the group.

Cheers,

S.
