All I want for Christmas

All I want for Christmas is for the US government to get their ya yas together and do the work to get their greenrush launched.  Acreage has been fumbled badly imho and the importance of this company to Canopy and Constellation is relatively unknown.  The complexity of the newly revisited deal has turned any interested investors off because it has ifs written into the deal which means that it is up to Canopy to do the deal or walk from it and their investment in it.  Jmho but  the price of Acreage has been decimated considering it is at the top of the US Multis State Operators and brings most everything that Canopy is going to need to go full bore in the States.  Canopy is active despite the downturn in most of the majors and I don't think they would have wasted the time and effort and another $30 million to redo the Acreage deal if they have no intention of going through with it.  One of the biggest hitches for survival of LPs and US MSOs is cash and access to it while the government fumbles around trying to get laws and regulators to the stage of understanding what this whole new industry needs to be profitable.  In simple terms we need the same level playing field that Big Alcohol has.  Canopy is active with Acreage with branding deals to get cannabinoid infused beverages to the consumer in States where allowed as well as several other lines of edibles with well recognized names attached.  Canopy also is finishing up a huge facility in NY in preparation for a triggering event which will probably have a huge bottling facility in it.  Canopy is the world leading marijuana and hemp company and they are doing what winners do and planning for the future and they are doing that through Acreage.  If that isn't enough they have taken a huge interest in Terrascend too and they have enough money in the bank to get there and they also have a huge multi unicorn Constellation Brands who are working behind the scenes for the success of these companies.  My gut is telling me that Acreage is going to get absorbed by Canopy and at these prices is looking very lucrative.  glta and dyodd
