Armtec is a major Canadian manufacturer and the dollar is now positioned to make selling south much easier. I suggest that if America gets its act together and begins to repair a crumbling infrastructure then the future may be rapidly improved for Armtec Guelph. It all will depend on who wants to see Armtec survive. It sure is cheap now, but cheaper if bought as an asset sale after bankruptcy. It doesn't get cheaper than buying at auction.
So we shall see. Is there a white knight. Nobody here has a clue. Brookfield will wiggle out as best they can as they are only money folks with a short term vision. And they can write off their misjudgements.
I think this stock is nearing bottom,, but probably not there yet. Too many conflicting issues. I used to supply Armtec. A good company with good product lines. And the world needs what they make. And Armtec understands the US marketplace. They are not new to it. So ? We shall see. I wish Guelph all the best.
