Couldn't resist buying a bit back. Juicy 11% dividend. The Sandbox sale wasn't good but didn't warrant a reduction in market cap of $180M. Payout at 93% with dry powder to make further investments should be okay. Discount of 15% to book value provides a bit of a cushion for problematic cases (ccComm). Hard to say if it's a good buy as the market is clearly on sale right now ...more

WOW I used to own close to 4000 shares of this terd. sold a bunch back in November once I got to break even in most of it but sadly I still hold 400 shares.  Wish I had stop limit orders on them ... my fault i think the selling today is so overdone and yet I don't want to buy ...  does the market think a dividend cut is imminent?

It's not easy to separate the effects of the COVID market-wide drop, the financial sector drop relative to the overall market, and AD's Sandbox-related drop. It seems to me there should have been a hit to AD for Sandbox, but not as large as it was. But is it a buy at this moment? The ECR's clearly were healthy at year end, but year-end preceded the market's reaction to COVID-19. .
