RE:Goldguy

RE:Goldguyoilminer,

I don't really know any more than anyone else about ANV.

I am basically a trader, and I have different lengths of time that I trade in, including short, medium and long term.

I am treating ANV as a longer term trade and may take shorter term trading positions if gold can get to $1350 and ANV is performing well.

Gold has been very strong and is approaching major chart resistance in the zone around $1300.

It is also getting overbought on momentum indicators.

However, gold can have price thrusts that result in it appearing overbought and it can remain overbought for some time.

I am not quick to take profits in any of my PM positions, but I do use trailing stops to control risk in most positions.

I have no idea of what strategic plans management has to protect profitability.

So far, they have not hedged production at any price.

Given my bullish bias, I would prefer no hedging since gold appears, to me, to have put in a long term bottom.
