Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

For the month of March in Ontario, Aphria had three of the top-5 brands. Good Supply was number 1, Solei was number 2 and RIFF, number 4 according to OCS.

When I stated earlier this month that Aphria had a 24% market share for REC in Ontario it was a fact. Aphria also controls close to the same % for the medical market in Ontario too.
I believe that we are close to 18% across Canada as a whole for market share but that is rising quicky as AD is now pumping very low cost product out for Aphria at full tilt.
As one of the articles stated, Aphria is crushing the competition!!!
We now have economies of scale working for US and against the competition...while the competition scaled down recently to the tune of 6.5 million square feet of capacity WE scaled up...BOOM!
They lay off and we hire!!!!

Aphria will be a full fledged CPG company one day and as I.S. puts it the AMAZON of cannabis!

Stay healthy everyone,
Prof
