Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Management and BOD members share purchase

RE:Management and BOD members share purchaseDon, I have noted this issue several times. APHA management and board haven't bought and won't buy their own stock. They don't believe in their own company. This is one of the reasons I turned against this company as it is major red flag. The insiders generously award themselves with cheap options and other share-based compensation (in addition to huge cash comp). They also probably think the shares are overvalued or expect negative news such as goodwill impairment charges, more dilution or low sales growth.
