Management and BOD members share purchase

Overall I like Aphria as a company and product it sells. Senior management is OK, the BOD has some questionable appointments but it does its minimum job. What I am missing in this company is senior management and BOD members stock ownership. They do not buy their own stock with their own money, with some exceptions like Carl M. Wouldn`t we as shareholders expect and like to see more of their skin in this company? Some of the members of SH board attend anual meetings. Shouldn't we ask question or propose resolution at the AGM that BOD members should have a minimum number of shares that they should buy in the company to become members rather than only own what is awarded to them? I have not checked share ownership lately and I may be wrong. Maybe they own many shares? This is the time that I would expect Irwin Simon and other executives and BOD members to step in and buy shares to show their confidence in the company's future, especially it looks as it will be a leader of MJ LP pack. This would scare many shorters and would provide some confidence for the industry investment analysts
Constructive comments and ideas for the discussion on this board would be welcome.

Why would they buy something they'll get for free anyway.

Don, I have noted this issue several times. APHA management and board haven't bought and won't buy their own stock. They don't believe in their own company. This is one of the reasons I turned against this company as it is major red flag. The insiders generously award themselves with cheap options and other share-based compensation (in addition to huge cash comp). They also probably ...more
