Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Writedowns LATAM

RE:Writedowns LATAMIf true, let's hope it was risk of a potential write down vs an actual one pending. The class action is still before the court and the value of LATAM assets is being discussed. To do another write down now is not great optics in my opinion. I am hoping that given that Avanti came with the Nuuvera deal, and Avanti is our processing centre to move goods to Germany, that this helps with the value of the all the assets purchased as part of LATAM.
