Before that, he served as the independent chair of its board of directors. Simon is is the founder and former CEO of packaged goods company Hain Celestial Group, which reported $2.3 billion in revenue for fiscal 2019.
Irwin's strategy of focusing Aphria on its core operations in Canada has played out well.
