RE:RE:RE:The truth stings but reality isThe answer is simple. DD was not operating at the time because it couldn't, and Irwin jumped the gun and made a supply deal before Health Canada approved the facility. So he broke the deal because he couldn't produce enough at the time. It's another example that he can't negotiate for .... He should have put an exit clause that covered Aphria if HC didn't provide the approval in time, which is exactly what happened.
The oversupply issue now is widely known in the industry. Unless some of the other companies go belly up and shutter their production Canada will remain widely oversupplied. Unless of course Irwin stopped being lazy and got a distribution agreement in another country, but he's not doing anything that would warrant a fraction of that crazy paycheck of his. The only thing he did so far is invest in some companies in the USA on a prayer that sometime maybe in the future potentially weed will be legalized federally. Even if Democrats win, the MJ legalization will not happen for years. It's not exactly their top priority, and it's bound to risk getting filibustered in the Senate.
BigBozzMan wrote: Everytime I read posts about the oversupply issue I ask this same question. If we have an oversupply issue than why couldn't we fulfill the supply agreement with Alefia? Nobody has been able to answer this question properly and I really am bothered with what transpired there. We "supposedly" are over supplied so why didn't we workout an agreement.
