The truth stings but reality is

Double Diamond is not operating at fill capacity. It probably a quarter operational right now. They are sitting in a a tons of unsold inventory.  The difference between guys like Positive (a kid loool) isn't in the industry. I actually see what's going on. Unless we increase supply deals and Irwin get moving, we will burn through cash no different then every other company. He padded the war chest a couple of times with dilution. There's a reason Double Diamond sold al their shares every single one of them 6.04.  There's a reason they closed their sales department and sell through Mastronardi produce.  The struggle is real.  I mentioned these things and people say "ohhhh you said this already, it's the pastttttt".  Well the ost is going to effect the future let me tell you unless we get a CEO who can make deals and stop relying on supply chains Vic made.  Go investigate yourselves.  Go see Aphria Diamond, the amount of unsold inventory is growing steadily.

irwin sucks

I have to say that I did not want to mention this myself, but, I have to say that after being in touch with locals in Leamington, the following are key points. Yes Phase IV may not have any growing going on within it. The laid off employees have also stated that there is a rather large abundance of product and there is no room to store it. The ECoE is on hold and in fact equipment is being ...more

Agree 100 percent , Irwin has to go , he has accomplished next to nothing for us shareholders but has rewarded himself quite well. Think about it 10 million a year ,for what is my question ? Fire him !!!

When Irwin first came aboard I truly was optimistic and hopeful that he could lead the corporation as befitting an experienced CEO. Maybe I am not being patient enough or I just can't see the forest... but he needs to earn his keep. If APHA is truly all that I/we think it is, and if all these anaysts have the high expectations we also have. where are the offers of buyout or increased sales or ...more

Everytime I read posts about the oversupply issue I ask this same question. If we have an oversupply issue than why couldn't we fulfill the supply agreement with Alefia? Nobody has been able to answer this question properly and I really am bothered with what transpired there. We "supposedly" are over supplied so why didn't we workout an agreement.

The answer is simple.  DD was not operating at the time because it couldn't, and Irwin jumped the gun and made a supply deal before Health Canada approved the facility.  So he broke the deal because he couldn't produce enough at the time.  It's another example that he can't negotiate for ....  He should have put an exit clause that covered Aphria if HC didn' ...more

You just saved me an explanation I was currently writing. Exactly what happened. May I mention they also had a massive mold issue and unacceptable product they had to deal with. Now again this is local news what I'm about to say, they wrote that up as shortage of labour but that's not necessarily true. There is an oversupply issue and there is an increased over stock as we speak and Aphria ...more

the supply deal was made by Vic no Irwin.

Excellent post - Thanks!

@DD1964 No one is happy about the SP movement for sure, not even shorts. It doesn't move so everybody is getting impatient.  As for Irwin's salary, 10M is 4.7M after tax in Ontario, right? Not saying what Irwin did is worth that much either but that's probably what it needs to have someone of his stature.  I will start selling my APHA shares if it still doesn't ...more

Appreciate the local insight and observations. Good to know. Thought it was mentioned that they were selling everything they could grow earlier this year. Obviously not. Still early days. Apha appears legit at this point.

Allegations with no proof. Very easy to do. I call BS on your post and all the others who follow.

Call BS by all means God willing it turns out to Be BS.  I want it to be BS. It's just from what I'm hearing, what I'm seeing in the last quarter of inventory especially wholesale and the fact insiders sold everything who own Aphria Diamond. It's looking shady. To everyone who appreciated my posts and some calling them excellent. Thank you and I hope I'm wrong very wrong ...more

I'm hearing something very different. That's the problem with hearsay.  Time will tell if either of us are correct. For me, the verdict is still out on Simon.
