Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Food for Thought Aphria-Tilray-New and improved Tilray

Ventura: Great info again. Thanks for sharing. The way I see it, apha began its descent once the NR came out stating the .83:1. It popped initially during the initial NR (primarily after hours) and began down trending once the details of the deal were published.  I think it's honestly good news regardless of the acquisition result. If the reverse acquisition is dead in the water, Apha remains the best LP and I'm just as happy holding with all other catalysts on the horizon (swing vote in Georgia, upcoming earnings, US exposure through SW acquisition etc.) I'm just as happy with Apha going at it alone or conversely, we get a signed acquisition and we have a new giant in the global cannabis operation. It's a win win in my opinion but then again I may be out to lunch. Grain of salt.

Cheers
